The Specialization in Urban Leadership and Transformational Mission Launches in Latin America

Table of Contents

Between October and December, something new begins: the Specialization in Urban Leadership and Transformational Mission is opening its first cohorts in Venezuela, in the cities of Valencia, Guanare, Barquisimeto, and Cabimas, with participants also joining from Maracaibo. At the same time, cohorts are launching in Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, and the United States.

The program grew out of two years of collaboration with more than six countries and is academically endorsed by the Comunidad Teológica de México. In June and July, twenty-one local facilitators were certified in Venezuela, Mexico, and El Salvador to accompany each cohort on the ground.

This is about more than passing on theory. It is a 12- to 15-month hybrid process, with 200 academic hours across 12 modules, in which each leader studies at their own pace on the Aula Azul platform, meets in person with their cohort once or twice a month, and applies what they learn in their own community from the very first months, culminating in a practicum with real impact on their community. Each cohort brings together 6 to 10 leaders from the same city or region, accompanied by their certified local facilitator.

Your city needs you. And there is a path.
